"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to have one of the biggest and most anticipated fights in comic book movie history- obviously, we're referring to the first fateful time when Batman (played by Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill) lay a beatdown on each other. Presumably, after that the two superheroes will become fast friends. But we're still looking forward to the fight.

And while most people are expecting Superman to win handily when the two superheroes clash- he does have super-strength and heat vision, after all- that final fight could end very differently then anyone's expecting. Considering that the latest Batman v Superman rumors (via Paste) point to the film being based off the classic comic The Dark Knight Returns, the fight could actually end up with Batman beating Superman.

Those same rumors also state that the fight begins with Superman crushing the Batmobile in a single punch, but given that The Dark Knight Returns ends with Batman defeating Superman in the climactic brawl, it's not hard to imagine the same thing happening in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

According to Business Insider, we'll see the first trailer for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" with "Mad Max: Fury Road", on May 15. They claim that because Avengers: Age of Ultron is set to rule the box office during the first two weeks of May, Warner Bros is going to wait until after the Avengers sequel has quieted down to release the first Batman v Superman trailer.

It's very likely we'll see our first glimpse of Batman in the first trailer- played by Ben Affleck, a casting decision that's been seen as controversial by many Batman fans. But according to co-star Amy Adams, Affleck's Batman will be a truly excellent rendition of the character.

"He is going to be his own unique thing. He's got a wonderful quality and a great body of work, I was only in one scene with him, I think I'm allowed to say that. So I didn't get to see much, but what I saw was fantastic."

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will premiere in theaters on March 25, 2016.
