The average PC gamer with average gaming rigs can play the game and can even reach 1080p/30fps, without much effort. Many experts see this as a clear sign that the PC version of GTA V is optimized outstandingly. Banking on their successes with Max Payne 3, Rockstar has indeed made huge strides in developing games on multiple platforms. However, achieving 4K gameplay needs more than just average rigs to juice out completely the full beauty of GTA V.

Kevin Hoare, President, Rockstar Toronto, said to PC gamer that in order to play the game in all 4K glory,

"To run the game on a 4K display at 30fps...you'll need at minimum an AMD HD 7870 or Nvidia GTX 760 with 2GB of VRAM."

Hoare continued his recommendation to get frame rates up to 60fps, rigs much have "high-end SLI or Crossfire setup." However, with the minimum requirements, gamers will be satisfied already with the level of gameplay resolution they will get.

GTA V is set for release on April 14, 2015 and it will surely get the massive support of every PC gamer as the long, 19-month wait finally draws to a close.
