While fans from all over the world have seen a lot of horrible things happen in the show's previous nine seasons, Supernatural season 10 is not going to be any better but the viewers expect nothing less. In the last few episodes, actor Jared Padalecki teases fans about how the season will end in a sour note.

In Supernatural season 10 episode 18 entitled "Book of the Damned", Charlie (Felicia Day) contacts Sam and Dean (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles respectively) when she finds the Book of the Dead, a book that could free Dean from the Mark of Cain. Naturally, this will not be an easy feat when Charlie also tells the Winchester brothers that she has been shot by Jacob Styne (Jeff Branson).

Styne claims that the book belongs to his family and he intends to get it back. Meanwhile, Castiel (Misha Collins) and Metatron (Curtis Armstrong) go looking to Castiel's grace but things go awry for them too.

Actor Jared Padalecki has a few things to say about the final arc of this season. He says that Sam and Dean might do some dark things in the succeeding episodes. It is a given for Dean since he is cursed with the Mark of Cain but Sam has been relatively good since he dabbled in drinking demon blood in older seasons.

Padalecki also promised that the final moments of the season would be intensely traumatizing. Any other fan would be scared but Supernatural fans have been trained to expect horrible endings so this is not anything that they should really steel themselves for. Dean having to kill Sam to be cured is nothing new.

In the finale storyline, Cain (Timothy Omundson) tells Dean that he is going to first kill Crowley (Mark Sheppard), then Castiel, then his brother Sam. Even though fans are used to it, it does not mean they are going to enjoy it for even a second.

Fans are going to be left wondering who is going to die this time for the next few weeks until the finale. Supernatural season 10 returns to small screens on April 15.
