The web currently floods of gossips what Samsung Galaxy S7 could look like following the success of its brothers Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Edge. Rumors have it that in order for Samsung to beat Apple in handheld device dominance, Galaxy S7 needs to look way better than its current flagship.

Here are few of the current predictions on how Galaxy S7 looks like and the features that come with it.

Processors. Rumours on Galaxy S7 indicate that the upcoming model boasts of an extra octa-core processor at 3.0+ GHz; this comes with a maximum of 4 GB of RAM.  Nonetheless, there are also leaks pointing to the use of Exynos 16-core big.LITTLE chip instead.

Camera. Samsung Galaxy S7 is further speculated to arrive with an interesting 30MP main camera along with an ultra low light sensitivity sensor. The front camera is graced by a 7MP snapper. This is a significant leap from Galaxy S6's 16 MP through its rear camera with a resolution of 2988 x 5312 pixels.

Display. Galaxy S7 is reported to look differently than Galaxy Edge although this does not mean that the infinity-pool display is out place for Samsung. Nonetheless this news appears contrary according to a South Korean website that discloses Samsung ramps up on flexible panels production specifically for Galaxy S7.

In addition to the Galaxy S7 display, the upcoming device is rumoured to flash a stunning 4K AMOLED display in a 5.5-inch screen. On the other hand, Galaxy S6 features a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 in q 5.1 inch screen at 1440 x 2560 pixels.

Another interesting angle to look forward to with Galaxy S7 is the technology called Iris on The Move that aims to make Apple's fingerprint technology archaic. Up to this date, less is known of this technology but it is said to be first featured in Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4.

Samsung continues to remain hushed as to the release date of Galaxy S7 and initially rumours peg its release date on the fourth quarter this year. However, more recent news indicates that the coveted new Samsung flagship is up for release early 2016.
