Long-time couple Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama are set to make a big news. Although their fans hope this will be an engagement news from the two, the couple didn't want any false hope hanging around.

Valderrama, a former '70's Show' star, reveals that he and Demi are set to work on a movie together. He hinted on what Demi's participation could be. Guess what? Yes, Demi will sing the movie's soundtrack, although the date when the former Disney star will start working on it is still uncertain.

Valderrama said they are still working on some details of the movie and will make the big announcement soon when all are set. He said the supposed shoot of the movie this year is cancelled and will be rescheduled early next year because of his clotted schedule.

He is now busy promoting his new indie murder thriller movie 'The Girl is in Trouble' which is showing on theaters on April 3. For his current project, Valderrama plays a gang member who sought revenge for the death of his brother. He sports a gritty look with a pretty number of tattoos around his body, leaving away his sweet image.

Valderrama can't hold his excitement on discussing his plans on his new movie which he will direct himself. This will be Valderama's first project for his directing career. He also revealed that aside from directing the movie, he will also be a cast for the film.

"I'm going to be in it as well. When I did 'Larry Crowne' and I saw that Tom Hanks could direct, produce, write and star in a movie all at the same time, he kind of gave me hope that it was possible for me to do, too," said Valderrama.

Asked what are his preparations for the movie with his beau, Lovato, Valderrama said, "It's all about scheduling, management of your time and having good partners who will tell you when your take sucks."

Demi and Wilmer's relationship remained strong throughout the years. Recently, in marking the three years of her being sober, Lovato thanked her partner in helping her raise herself again from all the hardships she has gone through.

"I wish I could put into words how grateful I am for this man right here. But my love has grown to a level that words could never possibly express how much this man completes me. He's loved me the way I never thought I deserved to be loved and with this day marking my 3rd year sober. After sharing my ups, putting up with my downs and supporting my recovery, he still never takes credit and I want the world to know how incredible his soul is. I really wouldn't be alive today without him. I love you Wilmer," Lovato said.
