Last week, Dragon Age: Inquisition's Jaws of Hakkon DLC was released in Xbox One and PC. However, the PS4 version is not yet available, yet rumoured to have it this week. While waiting for the PS4 platform for the said DLC, there is an upcoming new expansion which will be in different platforms.

Recently, DoA's Jaws of Hakkon and its being time-exclusive with Xbox One and PC were detailed. It was mentioned through an interview with BioWare general manager, Aaryn Flynn with Kotaku Q&A session today part.

He said, "Jaws of Hakkon is a timed exclusive for the Xbox One and PC (through Origin). This approach allowed for a lot of support from Microsoft and Origin in launching the DLC, so [it] did have that benefit for the team, and we appreciate the partnership."

He also added that the fact it [Jaws of Hakkon] is a timed exclusive, it has also possibilities that the game will come out to other platforms. These updates are expected to come out by next week by saying,

"However, as a timed exclusive, it is definitely coming to the game's other platforms, and based on our internal discussions I expect we'll be announcing more details next week ... I hope no one boycotts the purchase, as it's a pretty fun adventure that will be available on all platforms. That said, everyone is free to vote/ message/ communicate how they feel, so if that happens it happens. We're definitely paying attention."

BioWare, the game developer behind the Dragon Age: Inquisition franchise, confirmed that that new DLC expansion will be launched in PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms, leaving the old-generation console releases unannounced.

However, the fans could expect that in the said DLC, they will be encountering lots of new enemies as well as new legendary armor and weapons in an "ancient god of war bent on destroying the world."

On the other side, the entire gameplay requires gamers to play it around 100 hours before they could reach and discover the whole battles. Who would ever say that this game is even beyond the words of the Bible, might as well consider the listed range that BioWare and EA [publisher] implemented in the gameplay:

  • More words than the Bible
  • 2,940 dynamic pieces of vegetation in the Arbor Wilds, one of the smallest exploration areas in the game
  • Just the Hinterlands exploration area is larger than all of Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II combined
  • 21 Combat skill trees
  • 200 abilities, talents, and upgrades
  • 4 Inquisition perk trees
  • 160 crafting materials
  • 150 types of armor
  • 400 crafting recipes
  • 30 mounts
  • 200 weapon and armor schematics
  • 1 Stronghold (Skyhold)
  • 3 enemy castles to capture
  • 300 war table missions for your Inquisition agents
  • 60 face customization settings
  • Millions of character combinations

With these being stated, no wonder Dragon Age: Inquisition recently earned the Game of the Year during the 2015 DICE Awards.

Dragon Age: Inquisition was initially released last November 2014, with its latest Jaws of Hakkon DLC out just last week. By this week, fans should wait for the PS4 version of the DLC as well as the new expansion to arrive in PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
