Is this a showbiz love "rectangle"? After announcing that he is single again, Ed Sheeran wasted no time fixing his broken heart as he was spotted with Victoria's Secret model and Barbara Palvin, the ex-girlfriend of  One Direction star Niall Horan.

Ed Sheeran, 24, who had broken up from chef girlfriend Athina Andrelos recently, was seen being cosy with Palvin in the trendy Mary Street burger bar in Sydney. Recently, Sheeran admitted that Niall Horran stole his former girlfriend Ellie Goulding two years ago. The incident prompted Sheeran to write his hit Don't which documented his messy break-up with Goulding.

During their date, Sheeran and Palvin tried to lay low and hid their faces behind their hands before bundling into the back of the same car. Ed Sheeran, who looked relaxed, flashed a small smile to onlookers, while supermodel Barbara Palvin kept her hood up an avoided the cameras.

Mirror claimed that there's definitely a spark between Ed Sheeran and Barbara Palvin. It claimed, "Ed and Barbara looked relaxed and happy. They seemed to be enjoying each other's company and having a laugh. There was definitely a spark."

Meanwhile, Sheeran took Australia by storm as he played solo in his Frontier Touring stop at the  Rod Laver Arena leaving thousand of fans in tears and awe. Sydney Morning Herald, dubbed Ed Sheeran's performance as one of his best as he was able to create pitch-perfect harmonies on top of his acoustic riffs and ingenious percussion.

Not since John Denver toured Australia 20 years ago has an artist played a sold-out arena tour completely solo. Sheeran played his hits including "I See Fire" which was a favourite among the fans as red and orange lighting engulfed the stadium as footage from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug displayed on 14 giant screens, creating a sense of theatre and awe.

His rendition of "So In Love", on the other hand, sent thousands of girls crying. He also performed "You Need Me", "I Don't Need You", and "Sing".
