Samsung has been very busy in providing us with all the top notch devices for consecutive years. And in 2015, fans can expect a lot more in terms of innovation and efficiency in the Samsung devices. Talking about innovations, Samsung had surprised the market with the release of their Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. The Galaxy Note Edge had brought an innovation in terms of design by featuring a side panel. This handset became a novelty to the masses and had earned a lot of positive feedbacks from its users. But there are always two sides to a coin and the Galaxy Note Edge had issues as well.

Here are some of the most common bug issues and how to fix them.

LOW BATTERY LIFE

Many Samsung Galaxy Note Edge users have complained that their device has a lower battery life compared to the Galaxy Note 4. The extreme usage in the battery is actually caused by the second screen for the Edge. But there are ways in extending its battery life.

1. Turn off the GPS and WIFI when not in use.

2. Remove some widgets or apps in the home screen and side screen.

3. Set the brightness to low.

4. Use the power saving mode. The Note Edge has two saving modes, the "Power Saving Mode" and the "Ultra Power Saving Mode". The "Power Saving Mode" restricts background data while the "Ultra Power Saving Mode" shuts down everything the phone doesn't need.

ERROR ON FAVORITE APPS

An error message would appear whenever apps on the favorite panel are changed or edited, according to some users. Here are some tips in fixing the problem.

1. Use the Safe Mode in deleting or reducing the apps. The panel has a tendency to crash if there are too many items on it.

2. Simply restart the phone.

3. Or if 1 and 2 doesn't work, back up your files and perform a factory reset.

CAMERA FREEZES AND CRASHES

Many users have complained that the camera had taken its toll in the Galaxy Note Edge. There had been complaints that their camera freezes, and/or crashes and asks for a restart. Solution?

1. Lower the image resolution in your camera settings. Perhaps the image is too large for the phone to handle.

2. Try downloading Google Camera, and see if it works.

3. Last resort, perform a factory reset.

Perhaps not all users experience the following issues, but for those who experience the following, hope you find something that would work for you.
