Fox recently confirmed that they will be having a big event on television as they take the next level with The Expendables of Sylvester Stallone in the small screen. Shane Brennan, the producer of NCIS: Los Angeles, and the scriptwriter Greg Coolidge of Ride Along, will be writing the script for the first season.

Fox is working together with the film's creator Avi Lerner and Stallong as the executive producer of the upcoming TV series. After the announcement, fans got excited and suggested some actors they want to be in the series. Here are three of them:

Keeping in mind his present in the Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Terry Crews definitely got it as a TV action star along with his humor, and since the film franchise, The Expendables 3 have him quite phased out.

Another one in the list is Jensen Ackles, going back to the up and coming track and TV action heroes, the actor could play along side with Jeremy Renner's role as Hawkeye. He was speculated to have been approached by Marvel, while making late revisions on the cast for Captain America, so this could be a big break for the action star right now.

There cannot be an Expendables series without the man that has strongest presence to hit the airwaves of HBO; even Tony Soprano wouldn't muddle with Omar Little. Michael Williams is an actor that brings with him some stern street cred, and in an action, he could be the rising star.

The upcoming Expendables series has no cast approached or attached yet, although, the producers have a lot of favorite TV action stars to include in the series: Chuck Norris of Walker Texas Ranger, he is already part of The Expendables film franchise, Magnum P.I's Tom Selleck, 24's Kieffer Sutherland, Scott Bakula of Quantum Leap, Lucy Lawless of Xena, Sullivan Stapleton and Philip Winchester of Strike Back, Mr. T of the A-team and Alias' Jennifer Garner.

The film franchise, The Expendables have earned almost $800 million in the global box office, for the three movies. There is a possibility for fourth and fifth installment with a female version in the works; The Expendabelles are in different phases of development.
