Apple's iPad Mini 3 will be soon replaced after its one-year old launch. The social media has been abuzz with rumors regarding the iPad Mini 4. The iPad Mini 4 is said to live up to the supposedly specs for the iPad Mini 3. Recalling the speculation last year, the iPad Mini 3 was expected to run on an A8 processor, however, it had stuck to its predecessor's A7 processor and adding only a Touch ID feature.

The upcoming addition to the iPad Mini Family is speculated to be a combination of the iPad Mini 2 internals and the iPad Mini 3 unfulfilled wish list specs. The iPad Mini 4 is expected to run on an A8 processor, the same processor that the iPhone 6 runs with. It will feature an 802.11 AC connectivity.

The iPad Mini 4 is said to sport a laminated screen, like the iPad Mini 2. This would make the Mini 4 more solid and cut off from internal reflections.            Fans however, added to their iPad Mini 4 wish list that Apple would add an anti-reflective coating, something that they had wished the iPad Mini 3 to get. It is also said to sport a 2GB RAM.

With these specs in mind, the iPad Mini 4 would be tablet worth waiting for. But when will it be released?

Apple had failed to reveal in their "Spring Forward" event the iPad Mini 4. The Spring Forward event had featured the Apple Watch and a Gold Retina MacBook Pro. But this does not mean that we won't be hearing anything from it soon. Christian Post reports that a number of tech sites had claimed an April release date for the iPad Mini 4 while PC Advisor claims a June or July release date.

As for the price, PC Advisor speculates that the iPad Mini 4 will be given a £299 price while offering a perhaps discounted £239 for the iPad Mini 3.
