Bad news for the fans of the upcoming Thor 3: Ragnarok! Jeremy Renner, who is currently filming for the Captain America 3: Civil War movie, ditched the third installment of the Thor franchise to be able to film for the other Marvel movie.

Renner is neither denying nor confirming reports but being in Mission Impossible 5, Civil War and Avengers Age of Ultron might already take up much on his schedule denying him the privilege to be part of the Thor movie this time around. Chris Hemsworth on the other hand is rumored to be clinging on the lead role to the point of throwing a stunt on his recent hosting of the Saturday Night Live show. Is this the end of the Thor movie series?

Thor 3 has been rumored to be released on cinemas on July 28, 2017 but was later on moved to a later date, November 3, 2017 to give way to the standalone Spider-Man movie. Sony and Marvel's recent collaboration have caused a bit of chaos when it comes to the schedule of Marvel movies release dates as well as the actors involved in each of the movies.

Rumors are also spreading that the Thor movie franchise is already "flagged" and might end up sooner than expected. Several reasons have surfaced regarding the possible "fallouts" that may have caused Thor another chance to be released on cinemas. Marvel productions seem to be looking for a new director that will add that new spunk to the movie. A different kind of humor and appeal seems to be the factor that's depriving Thor 3 to work and top the cinemas.

Meanwhile a female Thor is being put into consideration to resurrect the "dying" movie franchise.

But for the meantime Chris Hemsworth will still be Thor in the 3rd installment of the series and will work together with Tom Hiddleston as Loki.
