Khloe Kardashian’s “Baby Abs” Secret? Trainer Gunnar Peterson Reveals Reality TV Star’s Fitness Routine
Following Khloé Kardashian's Instagram post showing her new set of "baby abs" last week, her personal trainer Gunnar Peterson has recently opened up about the reality TV star's abs-getting routine.
Peterson has been helping Khloé achieve her fitness goals, including getting that six-pack to show. The trainer told E! News that his client's abs-getting routine involves the side hip bridge, ab extensions on the slide and the ol' knees to heavy bag routine.
Peterson also shared that Khloé's efforts to work out in the gym constantly and maintain a protein-rich diet helped her to get those "baby abs," the site added. "She works hard, she's intense, and she makes the right choices outside of the gym. That's her 'secret'," Peterson said.
The 30-year-old TV star has been putting in a lot of time and effort for her beauty and wellness since last year, as media sources reported. She also started to actively share updates on her personal fitness journey through her Instagram account.
On her Feb. 27 Instagram post, the reality star was shown wearing a cropped shirt and pulling her black shorts a bit down to reveal her well-toned abs. "Hi baby abs!! I see you!!!" Khloé posted."I hope to meet your other ab friends soon (yes I'm talking to my muscles. I've never met most of them before)."
She followed it up with another photo of herself taken a few years ago, which made her recall the hurtful comments she has received from other people before. "Looking back at pictures of myself I didn't realize at the time how unhealthy my lifestyle actually was. People love to call me the fat one but as weird as it sounds I still don't think I would consider myself fat back then," Khloé said.
She added more inspiring messages that relate to her journey, saying that her "workouts are not all about vanity," but instead about "clarity for my mind and soul." She said that people have different journeys in life, but it is important to "make sure your journey is for you and you alone."
The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star is also a proud advocate of waist training, according to US Weekly. Earlier last week, Khloé posted a selfie showing herself wearing a waist shaper, and her waist looking narrower than before.
