The God's has casted their blessings to the growing number of viewers of the History television series "Vikings." As the show gets a nod from the network on its season 4 renewal last Wednesday, Ragnar continues to explore the vast western sea to conquer more cities and countries in search for power and for riches beyond hid imagination.

Sixteen new episodes of Season 4 after the production managed to secure funds just in the nick of time before tax breaks deadline ended. "The Record funding round was closed on February 12, a day before the Revenue Commissioners ended the Section 481 tax breaks. It is understood the money will fund 16 episodes of the series, which is largely filmed at Ashford Studios in Co Wicklow and in the surrounding country side. The latest funding was raised by accountancy firms Mazars and Clancy & Associates, a Dublin tax consultancy, making a total of 120 million euros funding for the four series." As reported by Sunday Times.

Filming of Season 4 of the series is scheduled this coming May. The series is set to premiere its latest season by 2016.

Season 3 of the History Channel series premiered last February 19, 2015 yet talks about a season 4 is already on the way. With 10 episodes planned to air for this current season, securing a possible season 4 or knowing if the season 3 is the finale of this Viking conquest is deemed necessary. But as the series reached audiences in Hulu and now in Amazon Prime for UK viewers, fans are most likely secured with a couple more seasons for the action-packed drama series.

The ever fearless Ragnar continues his wanderings and is now at the doors of Paris. He is determined to conquer more lands together with son Bjorn and his legion of Norsemen ready to fight and die at any day. Unfortunately, allegiances and friendships are starting to be questioned as King Ecbert tried to seize power for himself, power that is solely his.

Vikings is aired every Thursday night on the History Channel.
