Dragon Age: Inquisition's Canada-based developer Bioware has announced in their website that a closed beta test will be steered for the game's upcoming patch.

Called the Patch 5 Beta Program, the test will cull a select group of players from a signup pool to playtest the newly-developed Patch 5. The beta test seeks to coordinate with the development team to ascertain possible issues that may get in the way.

Bioware disclosed that Patch 5 will be the major content update in history and will include several structures that will enhance gameplay experience for the role-player video game.

The entry of the Black Emporium makes one of the main content updates. Black Emporium is a secret black market that lets gamers buy exotic items. Other exciting additions are but not only powerful accessories, new crafting materials, and epic weapons. Somewhere in the Emporium is a Mirror of Transformation, an enigmatic relic that will enable players to alter sound and looks of the characters.

Bioware also divulged various quality of life improvements are being brewed in the lab, such as an adjustable subtitle size toggle, a shade quality adjuster, and a single player auto attack key. For games addict who has an eye for good fashion can cash in on fresh colors that can alter the appearance of a character's armor.

Other improvements reported to make an appearance in the patch include a more functional Skyhold, more predictable gameplay aside from the dreary fade rifts, treasure mysteries and fetch quests, and added loyalty quests.

Fans who have been requesting for the inclusion of Party Storage shall rejoice for its realization on the game. This will make players keep their objects for the upcoming use in a safe location.

The update will be available in the Skyhold's Undercroft area of the game, allowing players to save chosen items when they have reached their inventory limit. In all these exciting news, however, Bioware has limited to PC users only due to "unspecified patch infrastructure issues."

Although the exact release date for signups has not been released, Bioware has hinted that they will be announcing an official statement not sooner than later.
