"Street Fighter V" will be a PlayStation 4 and Windows exclusive fighting game. Fans have been highly anticipating the game ever since it was announced last December.

Street Fighter franchise has been in the game industry since the late 80s and it is one of the pioneers in the fighting game genre. Capcom, the game developer of the Street Fighter, intends to bring fighting game in a new level with the upcoming "Street Fighter V".

CrossMap reported that Capcom game producer, Yoshinori Ono, said that the development team has been improving the visual effects and graphics of "Street Fighter V". He said that "We've been hard at work on Street Fighter 5, and we promise this game, this product will be the one that brings fighting games into the next era." They also reported that the game producer of the fighting game always listen to their fans and takes into consideration all the inputs and feedbacks of the gaming community.

Ono also promises they wanted their players to have a unique experience in the roster of their characters in the upcoming title, he said that "Every single character in the game will be more unique than you'd ever expect."

While the Street Fighter gamers already have a vibrant community, Yoshinori Ono and his team intends to bring in more young gamers into the franchise with "Street Fighter V," as reported by Push Square. They also wanted to boost the tournaments for the game and be active in game events like the upcoming E3 and EVO 2015.

The game producer also wants to improve the netcode of their fighting games according to Segment Next. Yoshinori Ono said that "We were able, with Street Fighter X Tekken, to develop new netcode that was a generational leap above what we'd done previously but were unable to work that code into Ultra [Street Fighter 4] since the underlying tech is so different," and he added that "I'd certainly like to continue breaking new ground in this arena."

A teaser gameplay video for "Street Fighter V" was revealed last December and it shows that Ryu and Chun Li will be included in its roster of characters. An extended version also shows that Charlie Nash will be back in the upcoming title. Amazon has listed a $59.99 pre-order price for "Street Fighter V - PlayStation4 Standard Edition".

"Street Fighter V" will be a PlayStation 4 and Windows exclusive. It is slated to be released on March 31, 2016 according to the game list of Amazon. Capcom has yet to confirm this date. Stay in tune for further updates on this game.
