Far Cry 4: Escape from Durgesh Prison DLC has been released January 13 and the new expansion pack is available across all next gen consoles, XBox One and PS4, as well as PC platforms.

This newest DLC Addition features Ajay and Hurk held captive in the northern region of Kyrat. The two protagonists of the game are shown to be without defense weapons and tortured in Yuma's prison.

Ajay and Hurk can only make their escape if they could surpass the number of challenges of the evil leader Pagan Min. The two also need to acquire weaponry and upgrade such before their final battle begins.

Far Cry 4: Escape from Durgesh Prison DLC has either a single player or a co-op mode to play with a friend. The said mission is timed, thus, players must finish the mission within the shortest time possible to gain a top spot of the online leader board. When the mission fails, gamers will be pushed back to the starting point.

Each player only has 30 minutes to get to the extraction point and receive added missions along the line. These missions could add extra goodies like mounted guns or caged animal contributing to the final mission.

The catch of this specific set of missions is called the permadeath. When players die during the escape, there will be no reloading but starting over from the very beginning for another shot at a blunder free run.

Players can download the expansion pack for $10 and is also included in the Far Cry 4 season pass costing $30.

After the game's release on November 10 across all platforms, complaints about bug and other issues such as multiplayer problems have been raised by the gamers and the game developer had to release patch updates to fix the malfunction. However, it is reported that this latest DLC is way freer from bugs and so far, is functioning just perfectly.
