'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4' will be released this year and this will be available for the next generation of consoles. The newest game will also feature characters from 'The Last: Naruto The Movie."

The news was confirmed by Game Dev Cyberconnect2' president Hiroshi Matsuyama, reported Crossmap.

"Today, it was officially announced! Ultimate Ninja Storm 4! Appearing on the PS4! Not on the PS3. I have completely developed this as a next generation title. You can experience the demo over the weekend at Jump Fiesta 2015, so by all means, please try it out! Can you wait for this amazing experience?"

Recent reports also claim that the newest game will feature characters for 'The Last: Naruto The Movie.' This also means that there will be more action and excitement on consoles Xbox One and PS4. It is believed that 'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4'will be the next comprehensive Naruto game with the inclusion of world-acclaimed developer CyberConnect 2, wrote Crossmap.

Bandai Namco Games Europe Vice President of IP Strategy Herve Hoerdt shared his excitement about the new Naruto game, reported Christian Today.

"The Storm series continues to be one of our most popular franchises and its leap to the new generation of hardware ensures that it won't stop now. Our long-time partner, CyberConnect2, has always poured their hearts into the Naruto franchise and 'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4' looks forward to the ultimate realization of the series!" 

The new Naruto game will also feature the counter system from the 'Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution and will support cross-play, wrote Explosion.

Although there is still very few information regarding the new game, the game developers assured the fans that this one will have major improvements on the game's graphics.

The 'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4' should be one of the most anticipated Naruto games-and although it is yet to be confirmed, the release date is believed to be this year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game will also feature characters from 'The Last: Naruto The Movie' such as Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura.
