"Fifty Shades of Grey's" extended trailer dropped just as the 2015 Golden Globes Awards was happening on Sunday, January 11 at the Los Angeles Beverly Hilton Hotel. Lead stars of the upcoming movie, Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, were present in the awards night as well.

The Golden Globes was not only filled with jokes about hot topics courtesy of hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. The show was also where the extended trailer of "Fifty Shades of Grey" starring Johnson and Dornan was revealed. According to Us Magazine, "As Dakota Johnson walked the red carpet at Los Angeles' Beverly Hilton Hotel for the awards show, an extended clip from her raunchy movie with Jamie Dornan aired."

Us Magazine describes Dornan and Johnson looking stunning as they presented Joanne Froggatt with the Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Mini-Series, or TV Movie for her role in "Downton Abbey."

IB Times reports Johnson wearing a "shimmering Chanel gown" and minimal makeup and her hair worn down.  Johnson's outfit has been met with approval, despite the daring slit showing some skin. To some, the outfit looked like it was inspired by the movie, but most agreed Johnson made heads turn.

Johnson, as described by director Sam Taylor-Johnson, has a "sweet, naive sensibility," while maintaining an inner strength, which apparently shows on-screen.

Before settling with Johnson, according to director Sam Taylor-Johnson, female actors auditioning for the role of Anastasia Steele had been tasked to read "an intense, four-page monologue from the 1966 Ingmar Bergmann film 'Personna'," LA Times reveals. Meanwhile, Dornan, who replaced Charlie Hunnam for the role of Christian Grey, was cast because of his chemistry with Johnson, LA Times mentions.

The trailer for the movie, which is scheduled to hit theaters this February, shows Johnson's character, Steele, and Dornan's Grey develop a relationship that involves S&M. Us Magazine describes: "Juxtaposed against footage of the shirtless hunk getting dressed, tightening his tie, and carrying out his affairs as a high-powered businessman, Christian is heard romancing the young college co-ed."  

Though the two took the stage together, Dornan and Johnson did not come together, as ET Online reports Dornan coming to the awards show with his wife, Amelia.
