Fans who can't wait for EXO's upcoming comeback in 2015 have something to look forward to this season. Just recently, the group has released a teaser for the idol group's upcoming second winter song.

The song, which is titled "December, 2014," is a pop ballad performed by EXO's vocal line composed of Baekhyun, D.O, and Chen, allkpop reports. The three lead singers also collaborated last year for the heartwarming track, "Miracles in December."

For the new winter song, the idols sing about a magical love returning after going across the earth to meet their loved one. Allkpop describes the song as sweet and warm, perfect for the coming cold holiday season.

"December 2014" teaser features the group's rapper Chanyeol. In the 40-second teaser, the pop-ballad track plays while the EXO member is playing the mobile rhythm game, Superstar SMTOWN. Chanyeol then turns around from his seat, waves at the camera, and greets "Merry Christmas."

According to Koreaboo, "December, 2014" will be released via Superstar SMTOWN on December 19.

The short clip ended with a reminder of EXO's upcoming comeback in 2015.

The group's record label and management agency SM Entertainment announced on December 15 about the new track's release via the popular rhythm game. This pre-release was called "a X-Mas gift from EXO" for their EXO-L (official fanbase of EXO).

The winter-themed track serves as the follow up holiday release to EXO's successful 2013 album "Miracles in December."

The mobile game Superstar SMTOWN was released in the Korean market in August 2014 and has since been downloaded by over two million users in Korea.

According to Enews, the game is made up of music by artists under the label, including BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Super Junior-M, Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO, Red Velvet and more. To win the game, users touch the screen as notes come down along as the music plays. 

Since the game's launch in Korea, it has been chosen as Google Play store's "20 Games of This Month" last September. It also ranked no.1 as the most popular game on the Apple app store for the month of September.

Meanwhile, EXO is currently gearing up for their return to the K-pop scene in 2015.
