While the whole world is anticipating its premiere in theaters everywhere, it seems like Melanie Griffith is barred from seeing 'Fifty Shades of Grey' once it makes its debut on the big screen in February of next year.

"No, I will not be seeing it," the 57 year old actress said during an interview with TMZ. "Because my daughter doesn't want me to."

"I don't think it will be appropriate," Griffith added.

Based on the trailers, the film will be filled with racy scenes. However Jamie Dornan who plays Christian Grey in the film has already confirmed that there will be no full frontal nudity.

According to the video interview Griffith had with TMZ, it seems Dakota Johnson, who plays Anastasia Steele in the controversial film adaptation based on the best-selling erotic novel by E.L. James, ordered her mother to "not see 'Fifty Shades of Grey."

The young actress is afraid that her skin-baring controversial role "would be a flop." This would be Johnson's breakthrough role and the actress worries that her career would be ruined if the film does not turn out to be a success. It seems harsh Hollywood critics have made the newbie actress a little paranoid and worried.

"Dakota was so hopeful for this film, but she's read the trailer review-and it's not looking good," says an insider for StarMagazine.

The source further added that, "She took a big risk with Fifty Shades, but she's afraid she's made a modern-day Showgirls, that she's stuck with a film everyone wil make fun of."

Griffith was also known for making controversial films back in the 70's. The actress once starred in the sex shocker movie, 'Body Double.'

The film is set to be a global phenomenon and break box office records once it hits theaters on February 13, 2015.
