Various takes on Mary-Kate Olsen's alleged plastic surgery arise, and doctors weigh in on the possible procedures the actor/fashion designer twin to Ashley Olsen may have had done.

According to Movie News Guide, rumors about Mary-Kate having undergone plastic surgery came after being snapped together with twin sister Ashley Olsen on Friday for the 2014 World of Children Awards held in New York City. In the photos, Mary-Kate looked more different than usual from Ashley, with the article saying that she had "more defined jawline and cheekbones."

Mstarz says that the twins resembling each other was enough so that they shared a role in "Full House," but following Mary-Kate's transformation, the resemblance is less so. According to the article, "Mary Kate had a more androgynous style than usual when the sisters posed together on the red carpet." Mary-Kate is also being compared to Renee Zellweger, another actor who appeared at a red carpet event looking unrecognizable and being accused of going under the knife. When asked about the change in her appearance, Zellweger chalked it up to a healthier lifestyle.

As for Mstarz, though, plastic surgery may not be the only thing causing a difference in Mary-Kate's appearance. The site speculates the 28-year-old fashion designer to be pregnant, noting "a little bulge in her bulky jacket." "Some women, when pregnant, experience some facial changes due to hormones and weight fluctuations," the site theorizes.

While pregnancy theories are less rampant, Radar Online says even doctors speculate Mary-Kate has had some work done. According to Dr. Anthony Youn of Youn Plastic Surgery, several procedures may have had something to do with Mary-Kate's changed look. Youn stipulates that Mary-Kate's raised eyebrow may be a result of endoscopic brow lift and her plumper cheeks achieved because of Voluma. To clarify, Youn does not say that he has treated Mary-Kate.

Another doctor, this time Dr. David Cangello of JUVA Skin and Plastic Surgery, says that filler material may have been used to augment Mary-Kate's cheekbone area and straighten the bridge of her nose, as per Hollywood Life's article. The article quotes Cangello: "I do feel that the shape of her face has changed over time. Since this is not the case with her twin, it leads me to believe she has probably had some injections with fillers."

Just Jared quickly says that despite rumors, Mary-Kate doesn't seem affected as she was seen on the same night with boyfriend Olivier Sarkozy for the New York Knicks vs. Orlando Magic game at the Big Apple.
