GOT7 release new teaser images for ‘Identity’ and MV teaser for ‘Stop Stop It;’ Group remains a strong contender for MAMA 2014 ‘Best New Artist’ award

JYP Entertainment's rookie group, GOT7 recently released new teaser photos as part of their upcoming comeback with their first album "Identity."

The idol group's new concept photos were released through an exclusive on Naver. The photos show the fiercer and a more masculine side of members JB, Jr., Yugyeom, Youngjae, Mark, Jackson, and Bam Bam.

The seven idols wore black outfits matched with gold accessories, Daily Kpop News reports.

Meanwhile, the group also revealed their second MV teaser for the comeback track, "Stop Stop It." In the video, leader JB can be seen falling in love with a mysterious girl. A part of the lyrics goes, "Stop stop it, whenever you do that, I feel like I'll go crazy."

The group, managed by JYP Entertainment, will release the MV on November 17, which is also the date of their showcase, Allkpop reports. The online release will be on November 18, while it is scheduled to release offline on the 20th.

Moreover, fans of the GOT7 recently celebrated the group's 30th day since their debut early this year. The group's supporters took to Twitter to celebrate and greet the K-pop group, using the hashtag, "#300DaysWithGOT7." At one point, it was among the top trending topics worldwide, according to another article by allkpop.

GOT7' fanbase is not only limited to those in South Korea. The group has been receiving overwhelming support from fans overseas, thanks to their member's multi-national backgrounds. The group has catching attentions of fans from Japan and Thailand.

This massive following is also the reason the group remains a strong contender on Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) 2014's Best New Artist category. The group is currently in close fight with YG Entertainment's WINNER. As of November 12, GOT7 has received 37.4 % of votes (6,260,603 votes) while WINNER is on the lead by a small margin at 37.8% (6,326,777 votes).

The two rookie groups have been receiving fluctuating votes allowing them to claim the top spot alternately. MAMA 2014 awards ceremony will be held on December 3.
