Seungri joined his fellow Big Bang members for a Japanese fan meeting in Seoul, his first public appearance after his recent hospitalization. The fans in attendance were delighted to see him for the first time since he was involved in a road accident.

The youngest member of the K-pop group Big Bang graced the event on October 18 at the Lotte Hotel. According to KpopStarz, the fan meeting was organized by the Green Tower travel agency. The event was exclusive for Japanese fans of the K-pop group known as JVIPs.

YG Entertainment did not announce anything about Seungri's appearance prior to the event, so fans were surprised to see Big Bang complete. Fans of the group took to forum site One Hallyu to express their emotions on Seungri's reunion with his group mates.

Seungri revealed during the fan meeting that Taeyang and Daesung visited him at the hospital. G-Dragon and T.O.P. were not able to visit him due to their busy schedules.

Seungri was re-admitted to the hospital on September 29 due to internal injuries he sustained from a motor vehicle accident on September 12.

Authorities are still investigating the accident. Preliminary reports, however, suggest that the K-pop star might be at fault due to speeding.

Meanwhile, Big Bang previously appeared in a photo shoot for the publication W Korea without Seungri. When the news broke, fans speculated that the group might continue promoting with only four members.

In other news, Taeyang revealed that the group is working on a new album. During his solo concert on October 12, he made the announcement of their upcoming comeback. The news made VIPs (Big Bang's official fan base) excited as it has been a long time already when the five members worked together.

As of now, YG Entertainment has not yet announced the exact date of the group's comeback.
