'Longmire' fans have been urging to have this highly anticipated scripted show back on A&E Network. However, the news of the show's cancellation broke up after speculations that the network needs to flunk Season 4, as it fails to target a particular age range.

People on Twitter have come up with their sets of campaigns namely '#LongLiveLongmire', together with the show's producers, to have it continued on a different network. Meanwhile, it is safe to say that they are being heard from all around North America.

Adam Bartley, who plays "The Ferg" Ferguson, confirmed via Twitter that they are still under contract until February 2015. Having this said, this could serve as an affirmation that they may surprise their fans anytime about its comeback. It is safe to say that there are still time for positive changes.

Moreover, the producers try to promote the follow ups for the season by advertising a volume of short stories compiled by the best-selling author of the "Longmire" novel Craig Johnson entitled "Wait for Signs", which will be launched on Tuesday, October 21, reportedly.

Furthermore, series' cast member Lou Diamond Phillips, who portrays Walt Longmire's best friend, has written the introduction, respectively. This denotes the show's extreme attachment with their campaigns.

Many are in question of what does this supporting book has to do with the show's approval of resurgence; hence, supplying these supports may increase the chances, if successful, of having the show continued on either A&E or on other networks.

Fans may pre-order the book on Amazon for $9.99 on Kindle and $17.60 for the official hardcover. Meantime, the book's synopsis reads:

"With glimpses of Walt's past from the incident in "Ministerial Aide," when the sheriff is mistaken for a deity, to the hilarious "Messenger," where the majority of the action takes place in a Port-A-Potty, Wait for Signs is a necessary addition to any Longmire fan's shelf and a wonderful way to introduce new readers to the fictional world of Absaroka County, Wyoming."
