The last thing we heard from "Terminator Genisys," the awkwardly titled fifth film in the "Terminator" franchise, was a particular rumored plot that involved a little Terminator on Terminator action.

That's not a new thing for the "Terminator" series- but for the first film, all the "Terminators" have had robots beating the snot out of each other while the fate of the future hangs in the balance.

But the difference in this new plot- reported on here at Venture Capital Post- is that the film would feature two versions of the same Terminator model duking it out. One would be played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, with a quick backstory written to explain why he's no longer the strapping young bodybuilder he was in early "Terminator" films- apparently, while robots don't age, the human skin plastered around a Terminator still does.

In the sequel, it was rumored that Schwarzenegger would be traveling in time once again, to fight a younger version of his same model, played by Aaron V. Williamson.

And now KpopStarz is confirming the plot leak, claiming that Williamson is officially signed on to the role. As well, they add that Schwarzenegger is considering a sixth Terminator film.

This isn't a surprise- back in the day, "Terminator Salvation" (the fourth film in the franchise) was supposed to be the start of a new "Terminator" trilogy, as reported by Variety. But when that one soured over in the public eye, Schwarzenegger was brought back in.

Now there'll be another shot at a trilogy- hopefully "Genisys" will fare a little better than "Salvation" did. But if not, no worries. There's nothing stopping Paramount from scrapping another trilogy and starting again in another couple of years. We've already forgotten "Terminator Salvation." If we have to, we can forget "Terminator Genisys" just as easily. It's the first two everyone tends to love, anyway.

Check back soon for the latest "Terminator Genisys" news.
