One of the most intriguing loose ends in CBS' "Criminal Minds" Season 9 finale, Hotch (Thomas Gibson) receives a mysterious text message. Fans have been speculating on what the message could be about and who its sender could be.

Gibson dished out that the contents of the mysterious text message and its sender will be revealed in the upcoming season. In an interview with E! Online, the actor said that the show will soon unveil the mystery behind the text message.

On the other hand, executive producer Erica Messer was asked by TV Guide if the text message was from Blake (Jeanne Tripplehorn), who has since left the show. The showrunner's response was coy. "It was intended to be a text from her, but we won't know for sure until next season," she said.

There is also some concern over Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) potentially abusing drugs again following Blake's exit. It has been suggested that Reid's connection with Blake and the discovery of the latter's past concerning her son might aggravate his already delicate state following his brush of death.

"My hope is that he doesn't go down the Dilaudid path again. But that's stuff for us to discuss at the beginning of the summer when the writers all come back. That's certainly a very real thing we could make a story out of or just something that we're aware of moving forward," Messer added.

Another thing that excites fans is reports that Enstarz cited, claiming that "Glee" star Jane Lynch could be returning for Season 10. Rumors started after Tripplehorn's exit, suggesting that either a new or a recurring cast member should be tapped. This is despite the fact that the show has already hired "Ghost Whisperer" actress Jennifer Love Hewitt to play BAU's new team member, E! News reported.

Messer said, "I really want to get Jane back again. This will be interesting to see how we pull that off and if it's right away. Because Glee's in its final season, maybe it's something we can't get to until later in the year. "

"Criminal Minds" Season 10 will premiere on October 1 on CBS.
