Tennis couple Maria Sharapova and Grigor Dimitrov may be heading for breakup, as the two allegedly unfollowed each other on Twitter and have not been spending time together or interacting on the social media site. Both are participating in the US Open.

According to IB Times, following their alleged problem in February, the couple is fighting again, with Sharapova and Dimitrov have allegedly unfollowed each other on Twitter. The article says that both have a loyal following on Twitter, but the two do not follow a lot of people, making it easy to see any changes. Apparently, Sharapova follows 60 users, while Dimitrov follows 64, but according to the article, "neither one was on each other's following list." This could mean that the two decided to unfollow each other just recently, but it could also mean that they have not been following each other since their relationship started.

KpopStarz also adds that the two "have been spending the days leading up to the US Open 2014 apart." The article says that Sharapova's time may have been spent on her business ventures, Sugergoop and Sugarpova. Advertisements about Sharapova's ventures have been her latest posts on Twitter. Among her latest posts is her sponsored dress for the US Open 2014, courtesy of Nike Tennis.

Dimitrov is apparently pushing Sharapova to win mixed doubles with him, but according to KpopStarz, when Sharapova was asked about playing mixed doubles, she did not respond with the name of her boyfriend. Instead, the 27-year-old athlete said: "I would only play with John McEnroe! Can we bring him back to play with me?" Sharapova also added that McEnroe can bring out her wild side. This could increase the likelihood of Tennis World's speculation the love story of the two could be ending soon.

The two tennis players are both in New York City for the 2014 US Open, shares IB Times. "Sharapova is seeded fifth in the women's draw, while Dimitrov is seeded eighth," the article said. Sharapova is the 2006 US Open winner, but she has missed last year's tournament because of a shoulder injury. IB Times says that a win for this year will bring Sharapova to her sixth Grand Slam title and the second in 2014 after her victory at the Roland Garros in May.

Meanwhile, Dimitrov could possibly be up against Roger Federer in the fourth round if Dimitrov makes it that far. According to IB Times, Dimitrov hasn't won a game that progressed after the first round. Dimitrov was defeated by Joao Sousa from Portugal in 2013 US Open's first round tournament.
