Wolverine has been in countless superhero films, but the one thing true "X-Men" fans have never gotten is a version of the hero's classic costume. But that may change with the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalpyse."

According to a piece in Enstars, the character (portrayed, as always, by actor Hugh Jackman) will be wearing a variation on his classic comic book costume in the next "X-Men" film. This costume has been hinted at in recent X-Men films, as "The Wolverine" contained a deleted scene of the character opening a case containing the costume. In the scene, Wolverine looks down at the costume and smiles.

At first, this was intended to be a joke (as there's never been any hint at Wolverine wearing the classic yellows in previous films), but now the rumors point to it being a serious tease.

Future of Marvel's Facebook page uploaded an image of the costume (seen above), and confirmed that it may appear in the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse." Here's what they had to say:

"The Hugh Jackman Wolverine costume for X-Men Apocalypse has appeared online and it is based on his classic yellow and masked costume."

Later, the site added a few more tidbits about the costume.

"The leaked Hugh Jackman Wolverine costume looks exactly like the one shown on a deleted scene of 'The Wolverine' movie and it gives reference to the classic yellow and masked costume of Wolverine in the comics and the animated series of the 90's."

This costume might look a little ridiculous on screen (there's a reason none of the many, many "X-Men" films have used it before), but if "X-Men: Apocalypse" is willing to take a chance on classic Wolverine, we'll gladly see what happens.

As well, Fang Bingbing has revealed to The Star that she may also appear in the next "X-Men" film, saying, "I am contracted to appear in the next four 'X-Men' films and it's going to be really amazing."
