Despite going their separate ways back in 2012, the on-screen chemistry of Ian Somerhalder's Damon Salvatore and Nina Dobrev's Elena Gilbert from "The Vampire Diaries" still seem to be going strong. This is after the two won Best TV Actor and Actress in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy category. "The Vampire Diaries" also won as the Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show of 2014.

However, the two don't seem to be planning on reconciling their off-screen romance, with Christian Post saying that they have "moved on with their lives". The 36-year old actor, who wore an Ian Somerhalder Foundation shirt to the Teen Choice Awards last August 10, is reported to be going steady with new fling "Twilight" star Nikki Reed, according to Fashion & Style. The new couple seems to get along on several things, one of which is their love for animals. Reed and Somerhalder have earlier been reported to have bought a horse together. The two are known animal lovers, with Somerhalder founding the Ian Somerhalder Foundation to help prevent animal cruelty and Reed advocating pet adoption. The lovebirds were also spotted jogging in Los Angeles with their dogs. Both are proud owners of German shepherds, shares Enstarz.

While Christian Post reports remembering Somerhalder getting cozy with Reed at the San Diego Comic-Con, Dobrev seems to be enjoying her single life with several men.

Dobrev has been linked with several actors after their breakup, including another "Twilight" star, Kellan Lutz, adds Fashion & Style. More recently, Dobrev, who plays several different characters on "The Vampire Diaries" on occasion, has also been linked with Orlando Bloom after the two were seen dancing and flirting at Comic-Con, shares Christian Post. The party happened on July 25 with Zachary Levi as host. According to an Us Weekly source, Dobrev and Bloom "couldn't keep their hands off each other". The same source said that they kissed for almost 20 minutes.

In a different report by Hollywood Life, Dobrev was apparently kissing a different actor, this time Derek Theler. In Christian Post's article, Theler and Dobrev were getting cozy together at the Hard Rock Hotel for the Entertainment Weekly Annual Comic Con Celebration held at FLOAT.

Reed is apparently a former close friend of Dobrev according to HNGN.com.
