The wedding countdown is on for The Bachelorette sweethearts Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried a year after their engagement and the show's finale.

The couple has kept their supporters satiated with constant updates of their wedding plans but has left many teetering on the edge of their seats as they are yet to announce the official date of their nuptial. Reading between the lines of Desiree's activities though, many are convinced that their big day is just around the corner.

The Inquistr.com recently reported Desiree tweeting, "Go with the red kitchen aid or the teal? Do we really need a waffle maker?" with the hashtags #weddingregistryproblems #timeconsuming #Somanychoices. The post sent tongues wagging about wedding date predictions, arguing that a bride-to-be usually doesn't start working on their wedding registry without an actual date yet.

Additionally, fans of the couple got even more excited when Desiree posted two photos of her enjoying her bridal shower in her Instagram account on August 3. The Examiner spills that Des, who is currently staying with Chris in Seattle, flew back to Los Angeles to celebrate the bridal shower with her closest girlfriends.

In other news, rumors are circulating that ABC is not willing to provide airtime to Des and Chris' wedding. According to Gossip guru Reality Steve, the network producers are not planning to televise the wedding of the two. He shares, "I will repeat what I've said. They have no intention to televise a Des and Chris wedding. Not this calendar year. Not ever. That's what I was told."

This sent fans disappointed seeing that weddings between the final couples of the show have always been televised. Some suspect that the network wasn't happy with the ratings to spend for a televised wedding though Reality Steve is convinced that ABC would be willing to air Andi Dorfman's wedding instead.

Whatever the decision of the network is, Des and Chris expressed their willingness to share their nuptial to the public. The wedding dress designer shared some details about her big event in a recent interview saying, "We're still thinking an intimate wedding with about 125 people." Fashion & Style adds to this by quoting her, "We are up for sharing it. Our entire love story unfolded in front of (millions of viewers)."
