Hollywood’s newest heartbreaker: Benedict Cumberbatch Breaks Hearts Everywhere with Secret Girlfriend
Hearts are breaking everywhere as rumors circle about one of Hollywood's bachelors finally being off the market. The cause of ruckus? English actor Benedict Cumberbatch and his supposed new flame.
The Sherlock and the Hobbit actor is still keeping everything hush hush but fans can't keep themselves from dissecting the girlfriend rumor after photos and insider news about him surfaced. But who is the lucky girl who has finally caught Cumberbatch's heart?
Kpopstarz reports that the most likely candidate is Dakota Johnson who is set to play Anastasia Steele in the much talked about movie, "50 Shades of Grey". The pair was supposedly spotted at the Met Gala having a dinner date and photos of the two looking cozy together are keeping the rumors alive. Benedict was even reportedly seen covering his face with napkins just to rouse a laugh out of Dakota, IBtimes reports.
The only thing that is keeping fans hopeful is news about Dakota Johnson still being linked with her boyfriend Jordan Masterton. But is this news enough to celebrate?
Metro reports that Masterpiece Theatre producer Rebecca Eaton has been dedicated in playing matchmaker for the 37-year old actor. She was even quoted saying that "Cumberbitches"-- the name used by fans of the actor to call themselves-- need "to move on."
Cumberbatch has been single for more than two years after the British actor broke up with fashion designer ex Anna James. Prior to that, he also dated fellow British actress Olivia Poulet for almost 12 years.
Despite fans grieving over the current relationship status of the actor, they still have reason to rejoice after the announcement of "Sherlock" returning with a Christmas Special in 2015. Executive producer Mark Gatiss also expressed his excitement for the show's return by saying "The Game is on-again!"
The Christmas special will feature Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch in the lead roles and will be followed by three more episodes.
