The next season of "Arrow" is still a ways away- the third season of the CW series isn't set to premiere until October 8- but the casting process has already begun for new denizens of Starling City. And given where the last season ended, with major baddie Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett) defeated and locked in prison, the series will need a few new characters for Oliver Queen/The Arrow (Stephen Amell) to fight against.

According to a new report from TVLine, the CW is looking to cast four major characters for the upcoming third season. The new additions are as follows:

"Daniel," a "handsome, enigmatic and highly intelligent entrepreneur developing groundbreaking technology" who eventually becomes a superhero in his own right. The report also names Daniel as a new love interest for Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), which may be the beggings of a new Daniel-Felicity-Oliver love triangle.

"Seth," a "A well-educated criminal with grand ambitions and a knack for chemistry," listed as a character with extreme physical prowess and the potential for a regular villain role. TVLine later updated their report, describing Seth with "reptilian eyes," and naming him as the primary villain of the season premiere episode.

"Toshi," who "will serve as Oliver's teacher and handler, and eventually become a friend."

"Akiko", "another of Oliver's Hong Kong caretakers... herself highly skilled in martial arts."

Toshi and Akiko are set to appear in the show's flashback sequences (that will follow Oliver Queen in Hong Kong), while Daniel and Seth are in the present day.

As well, all four names are most likely fake, although "Daniel" may be a clue to his character's identity. DC Comics hero The Blue Beetle was a similar entrepeneur-turned-hero with a high-tech theme, and the original Blue Beetle's identity was Dan Garrett (which may be where the name "Daniel" comes from).

According to showrunner Andrew Kreisberg, the third season will be about each character's self-discovery. We'll see how these new characters affect that self-discovery when the third season premieres this October.
