CBS's series "Criminal Minds" will be creating more mind games, dramas, and thrills on their tenth season this fall.

Showrunner Erica Messer has given hints of what to be featured on the next season; she was quoted by Enstarz to be explaining the backtrack of the story arc where a text to Hotch was featured in Season 2 - "It was intended to be a text from [Blake], but we won't know for sure until next season."

In addition, she has spoken that writers might discuss Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) abusing Dilaudid again this season.

The director also said she wanted Jane back perhaps after her role in Glee later this year. "I really want to get Jane back again. This will be interesting to see how we pull that off and if it's right away," Erica explained.

And according to the reports, the cast might need a character back after the exit of Dr. Alex Blake (Jeanne Tripplehorn) leaving 6 characters behind; which the showrunner clarified that there is no confirmation and the production might think of this just yet.

Meanwhile, cast members have stated their own spoilers.

"It's Season 10, its going to be a big season. I will say that how Season 9 ends will directly impact Season 10," A.J. Cook, who portrays Jennifer Jareau, said on the Enstarz report.

Coming back to direct some episodes - just like from last season - is Joe Mantegna who is also playing David Rossi.

"They asked me if I would do another one, and I agreed, so I'll do that around mid-November, and it will probably air sometime after the holiday. I have some ideas that I'm going to throw around with them." he said on the same site.

Mantegna wishes to have more budgets this time, so he may exhibit more for the show. "They gave me a little extra budget on the last one because it was leading into the 200th episode," he explained. "If I can get a big crane, we can do a good shot at the end [of the tenth season]."

CBS's "Criminal Minds" will premiere Season 10 on October 1, at 9:00 pm ET.
