On April 7, Peaches Geldof was found dead inside her house in Kent, England but the cause of her demise was not revealed until today when a published report came out citing heroin overdose has ended her life.

Bob Geldof’s daughter has died of substance abuse as shown in toxicology reports conducted by authorities. The Times of London said that the report was handed over on Thursday after an inquest of the model and TV presenter’s body.

The media outlet said that the 25 year old Geldof has been “obsessed” with her mother’s death, Paula Yates. The latter was found dead in her house, similar to what occurred with Peaches, and reports showed that Yates died due to an accidental overdose of heroin.

Peaches’ death was ruled out to be non-suspicious after a post mortem examination of her body showed no signs of foul play. Authorities also did not find any drugs inside the house. However, Times said that the illegal items may have been removed before the police came to search the entire household. It was not clear who gave her the drug which caused her eventual death.

Peaches was reported to have been using drugs in 2008.
