Pinterest has become the latest object of interest of online hackers. About an hour ago, creative and lifestyle photos have been replaced with butt photos, according to TechCrunch.

Multiple Pinterest accounts have reportedly been affected with the recent hacking. The site has been flooded with spam posts, the report added.

Recently, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) has warned Pinterest users about suspicious content on the site. According to the letter that it sent out, users should be wary of clicking on photos that are unusual. Hackers nowadays could access accounts via third-party apps and security flaws, the BBB said. Even the "Pin This" widget could be used as an entry point when a malicious code is inserted, the report explained.

For now, Jezebel says users might want to hold off clicking on pins temporarily. Although this might be difficult or impossible to do, users will have to bear with it until the issue gets fixed, the report added.
