Kontangent and PlayHaven, the two companies that merged just three months back, will be renamed as Upsight. The new brand will center on a single platform that will help app developers achieve both analytics and monetization features, according to VentureBeat.

Pocket Gamer cited Upsight Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Andy Yang saying: "It's difficult to find a new name in terms of getting domains and trademarks, but Upsight is based on Insight combined with the impact we want to have on our clients' business."

Yang, who was previously the CEO of PlayHaven, considers product merging as the most important tool in their business. Their customers can now use a single dashboard to monitor the performance of their apps, and to integrate their apps into, the report explained.

Yang also said that since the merger, the number of their monthly users has increased by 62.5%, with a 26% in the monthly events being tracked. This signifies that the company has grown rapidly since the merger. Now, developers can use Upsight as their main ad distribution channel and monetization platform, VentureBeat said.

Warner Bros, Thrillist, eHarmony, Sega, Big Fish Games, and BeachMint are among the clients of Upsight, the report added.
