Toronto mayor Rob Ford cracked up errors adding to his series of mishaps in his embattled political life. Ford was remembered lying about smoking crack but later on admitted to the allegation after several documented evidences came out not to mention his being drunk caught on cam, reported TIME.

The scandal plagued mayor did it again this time when he sent out a “harmless” tweet on social media platform Twitter. Ford’s message was suppose to advise his followers on Twitter regarding the Daylight Saving Time program. However, Mayor Ford committed an error and perhaps forgotten the old adage, “spring forward, fall back.”

On his official Twitter account, Mayor Rob Ford tweeted: "Daylight Saving Time starts this evening, turn your clocks back and change batteries in smoke alarms."

The post stayed on the social media platform for 30 minutes and imagine how fast users had descended on the mistweeted information, reported TIME. After 30 minutes of sitting there and getting criticized, the wrong tweet was deleted and replaced.

The newly worded tweet of Ford was posted saying, “Daylight Saving Time starts this evening, turn your clocks forward and change smoke alarm batteries before going to bed tonight.”
