Israeli firm ClickSoftware to add US workforce management firm Xora in $14.7M merger deal

ClickSoftware Technologies Ltd announced that it has agreed to purchase Xora Inc through a merger deal. ClickSoftware is a company that provides automated workforce management solutions, according to a press release from ClickSoftware.

Under the terms of the said deal, the transaction has a cash consideration of around $14.7 million, exclusive of cash adjustments and working capital. The agreement is expected to close in the next few weeks.

ClickSoftware founder and chief Dr. Moshe BenBassat said of the transaction: "The acquisition of Xora is an important and strategic addition to our mobile workforce management business and accelerates our cloud recurring revenues."

Xora Inc is currently headquartered in Mountain View, California. The company caters to companies which rely on frequently mobile workers and provides them with software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions. The firm is among the biggest mobile workforce management solutions providers in North America. Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T are a few of the Xora's most renowned partners.
