Carrot has launched humorous weight-loss app Carrot Fit as the latest addition to its app series. This new app will help users lose weight through a combination of positive and negative reinforcement, according to TechCrunch.

Carrot Fit is a motivational talking app that will berate people who want to lose weight. The app is made for people who can take humorous jabs about their body, and not for those who feel sensitive about being criticized. The app gives users rewards and punishments to help them stick to their weight-loss goal, the report explained.

Other apps in the Carrot family include the Carrot Alarm and Carrot To-Do, which also feature the same sarcastic quality. These apps seem to be inspired by the Portal games sarcastic AI voice GlaDOS. This feature is unique because no other fitness app has it yet, the report said.

In a crowded market like that of weight loss apps, the more unique an app is, the better, TechCrunch reported.
