Branded mobile content company TextPride secured USD1 million in a recent seed round. The investors were not disclosed, according to VentureBeat.

TextPride designs emoji and stickers that mobile messaging apps can buy and add as upgrades to their existing service. The startup was founded in 2012 by Evan Wray and Sean O'Brien, the report said.

At present, TextPride is working with more than 200 brands and has created more than 8,000 branded emoji. These brands include Chicago Blackhawks, the US Military, University of Notre Dame, and NASCAR, the report stated.

According to the startup's website, 400 million users have already seen or used its branded emoji. TextPride also expressed its intention to launch its stickers and emoji to mobile messaging app partners in the near future. The company said those mobile partners are four big messaging app platforms, VentureBeat reported.
