Intelligent software systems maker Building Robotics recently acquired USD1.14 million in seed funding via an investment round. The round was led by Claremont Creek Ventures (CCV), Google Ventures, Red Swan Ventures, Formation 8, Navitas Capital and other angel investors. According to Building Robotics, it would be using the proceeds from the seed funding round to hire experts in areas that the company would be focusing on. These areas are in back-end operators, user experience design, building management and development.

CCV managing director Nat Goldhaber said in a statement, "Building Robotics' business strategy fits perfectly within Claremont Creek Ventures' investment thesis. CCV invests in companies that are merging intelligent, comprehensive product design with innovative technology to give the user an empowering, productive experience. Comfy does exactly that."

Comfy is Building Robotics's software system product that allows employees to control air cooling and heating in the workplace.
