Fox News Digital has overtaken CNN for the first time ever in multiplatform unique visitors, topping the ratings for February 2024, according to a press release posted Tuesday that cited the latest data from Comscore. 

Fox News Digital secured the top spot with over 115 million total digital multiplatform unique visitors, while CNN trailed closely behind with 111 million. This marks an impressive 18% increase for Fox News Digital compared to February 2023, while CNN experienced a 6% decline in the same period.

Fox News Digital Dominates Multiplatform Views, Mobile App Success

Additionally, Fox News Digital dominated in total multiplatform views and minutes, registering 1.6 billion views and 3.1 billion minutes respectively.

In comparison, CNN recorded 1.2 billion views and 1.8 billion minutes, while The New York Times garnered 1.5 billion views and 1.5 billion minutes.

The Fox News Mobile App also continued its winning streak, attracting 5.8 million unique visitors in February, outperforming CNN's mobile app for the third consecutive month.

On social media, Fox News maintained its lead as the most engaged brand, securing 23.9 million total social interactions in February.

This is the 114th consecutive month that Fox News has topped the charts, with significant gains across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter).

Fox Business Surpasses CNN, Bloomberg

Fox Business also demonstrated strong performance, with FoxBusiness.com driving 161 million multiplatform views, surpassing competitors such as CNN Business and Bloomberg.com.

The business site witnessed a remarkable 25% year-over-year growth, delivering 235 million multiplatform minutes and attracting 29.7 million multiplatform unique visitors.

Furthermore, Fox Business' YouTube channel remained the most viewed among the business news competitive set for the 27th straight month, achieving 56.1 million views in February, a 39% increase from the previous year.

Overall, February 2024 marked a historic achievement for Fox News Digital, solidifying its position as a leading news organization in the digital landscape.

With continued growth in multiplatform unique visitors, views, and engagement on social media, Fox News Digital has demonstrated its ability to capture and retain audiences in an increasingly competitive digital news environment.
