Classifieds search engine Adzuna has announced the launching of Jobsworth, a tool that enables users to view the salary estimate of any job advertised. The launch of the unique tool followed after Adzuna was able to raise Series A funding from Index Ventures, The Accelerator Group, and Passion Capital, its existing investors. So far, the search engine firm has netted total funds of GBP 2 million or USD 3.1 million.

In a press release, Adzuna says that job ads in the U.K. that posts no expected salary is a cause of frustration for jobseekers. By employing advanced techniques, Jobsworth is able "to show a salary estimate against EVERY job ad." This innovation is a first in the UK job search market and Adzuna expects that this will provide jobseekers with "a better job search experience." 

Founded in 2011, Adzuna has shown impressive growth. Last year, the site averaged 2 million unique visitors monthly. It has also indexed more than 100 million classifieds and increased revenues.
