According to royal sources, the hospital staff were informed that Kate Middleton's due date was July 19th. Medical personnel though would have to wait two weeks before the delivery would be induced should the baby does not deliver by August 2.

The source told the Daily Star "A small number of staff at St. Mary's who might be called upon when the Duchess gives birth were told that they had to remain teetotal for a month before the due date. They were told the due date was July 19."

Another sign was Kate's own mother, intimating to friends that the future king or queen of England 'could be a Leo.'

Well wishers and fans have continued to send gifts to the St Mary's hospital. A group of French fans had sent a huge haul of gifts, amongst them a guitar shaped music box and a squeaky toy giraffe named Sophie.

The rpyal birth has caused a further resurgence in the Royal following, with many tourists and locals alike lining up betting stations and stocking up on wine and sparklers. The betting is for the date, which has now been pushed around July 24 while the wine and fireworks would be to welcome the new Royal to their subjects.
