'Sleepy Hollow' Update: Conflicting comments between Orlando Jones, showrunners erupt; Will the series be the same without Captian Irving?

'Sleepy Hollow' was able to survive many seasons that were challenging and demanding. As the TV industry remains competitive, shows must constantly demonstrate its uniqueness. But, for this series, the conflicting comments clearly indicated that the plotlines are changing to keep up with the tide.

It has been confirmed that Jones' role as Captain Frank Irving would not be returning anytime soon in the upcoming scenes of 'Sleepy Hollow'. Also, there are conflicting sides that indicate that both Jones' and showrunners are not seeing eye to eye in terms of the direction of the show and its plotlines.

It wasn't a secret that Irving already left Sleepy Hollow' at the near ending of season 3. Also, as Irving's leaving confirmed that he would not be coming back soon, as confirmed by Cinema Blend and even the fans and followers remains uncertain of the upcoming scenes and the plotlines as well.

Also, a You Tube Video of Jones explained the reason of him leaving the series. He commented, "I don't think Captain Irving is coming back, because when we started on "Sleepy Hollow," there was a Headless Horseman and he had a shotgun, and it's a very different show. I think the creators are awesome guys and they just didn't see a place for Frank Irving in that world."

Meanwhile, according to a publication from TV Line, it was 7 months or more before Orlando Jones explained the reason why he left the series. Although 'Sleepy Hollow' and its plotlines would change course, the showrunners have confirmed that there are more interesting things and scenes to look forward too. Also, showrunners have explained that Jones' leaving the series is not for good because even the showrunners wants Jones to finish the story of Captain Irving in the near future.

Nevertheless, the imminent scenes of 'Sleepy Hollow,' offers a new direction and plotlines that will bring marvel to its fans and followers when it airs every Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
