The CW's teasers of "Potential Energy", episode 10 of "The Flash's" second season, are keeping fans at the edge of their seats with shots of Harrison Welles (Tom Cavanah) betraying Barry Allen (Grant Gusitn), and Zoom (in a mask but voiced by Tony Todd), kidnapping and threatening to kill his girlfriend, Patty (Shantel Van Sant). Other reports that go beyond episode 10 give more tantalizing previews such as Earth 2's Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) unleashing her icy claws on their version of Barry Allen, while Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) gains back his speedster powers to fight against supervillain Geomancer.

Design & Trend gives a blow-by-blow description of the episode entitled "Potential Energy." Welles has turned traitor to collaborate with Zoom in order to get his daughter back. Zoom wants Welles to make Barry more powerful and faster - and ready for Zoom to steal all those super-speedster powers away when the right time comes. In the trailer, Welles warns Barry that Zoom always hunts down the loved ones of his enemies. And, just to make that point, Zoom crashes one party and kidnaps Patty, Barry's girlfriend, just as Barry was about to reveal to her his secret identity.

The season 2 of "The Flash" will run more tantalizing plots as the season progresses. According to the UK Yahoo News, leaked images from the set which is now shooting in Vancouver, Canada show an angry Killer Frost attacking Barry Allen. Since Caitlin Snow in Earth-1 has not yet turned into the icy assassin of the comics, and the Barry Allen in the mentioned photos sports a different haircut, speculation has been rampant that this Killer Frost and this Barry Allen are from Earth 2.

Fortunately, Earth 2 has its own Flash, and he just might get his powers back. Realty Today says that Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears), also known as Earth-2's Flash, will be fighting again, back in costume, against the supervillain known as Geomancer. Garrick lost his powers when he was accidentally transported to Earth 1 and he just might get them back again.
