EP Michael Peterson talks about Booth and Brennan's cowboy undercover mission in "Bones" Season 11's next episode. Meanwhile, Michael Ausiello spoils the fans about an unexpected loss in the 2-part finale, plus, the episode 9 official plot spoilers have been released.

In a report by TV Guide, the series showrunner discussed Booth and Brennan's apprehension about going into a cowboy and cowgirl undercover. Peterson revealed that Booth is much more determined to go undercover than Brennan is.

On the other hand, Ausiello teases the fans about an unexpected death in the upcoming finale episode. The 43-year-old American actor stated that one of the series regulars will be suffering from a heartbreaking and unimaginable loss. Ausiello further detailed that the scene will be happening in the 2nd part of the two-part finale which is slated on December 10, 2015, TV Line reports.

As for the official synopsis of season 11's episode 9, Carter Matt notes, "To solve a murder, Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) go undercover at an Old West-style shooting competition, while Angela Montenegro (Michaela Conlin) and Jack Hodgins (T.J, Thyne) discuss the future of their family and Camille Saroyan (Tamara Taylor) gets close with photographer Sebastian Kohl (guest star Gil Darnell). Then, the team investigates the murder of a police officer that sends shockwaves through both the Jeffersonian and FBI teams.

Behavioral analyst Leslie Green (guest star Sara Rue) is assigned to work with Booth on the investigation and lends her professional assessments on who the cop killer could be, while Cam must make some decisions in her personal life and the entire team re-evaluates what is truly important to them."
