"Person of Interest" Season 5 may be the last to air on CBS but not on other major networks which are interested in ordering for the 6th installment. Also, EP Jonathan Nolan talks about the machine while Amy Acker was spotted having a meet and greet in New Jersey.

Comic Book Resources reports the possibility that "Person of Interest" Season 5 may not be the last one to air on television. According to the outlet, other major networks are interested in ordering the 6th installment of "POI". However, Michael Emerson is not certain which network will have the rights to the series because the production is very expensive.

Executive producer Jonathan Nolan discussed with TV Line about the rebuilding of the Machine and what the viewers can expect to happen next in the upcoming installment of the series.

Nolan stated, "That issue is very ripe for debate when(ever) the CBS series returns, with Harold Finch and Root taking very opposite sides. What's great fun about the early episodes is watching the 2 of them argue about, if they can adjust The Machine's secret formula, should they? Given that the stakes are higher and time is running out for them, what are the ethics in changing your strategy?"

Meanwhile, Amy Acker attends New Jersey's first ever comic expo. As detailed on NJ, Acker was spotted having a meet and greet, signing autographs with her fans on the said event.

Fans could see Person of Interest coming to an end after season 5 on its CBS, however, given the massive following of the tv show, there is the possibility that it will be picked up by other major networks which have already shown such interest ordering for the sixth season.

As of now, "Person of Interest" Season 5 is up for a nomination for People's Choice Awards 2016. The upcoming season is set to premiere anytime soon in 2016 exclusively on CBS. "Person of Interest" is an American sci-fi crime drama TV series created by Jonathan Nolan that has built a huge fan base across countries.
