GoPro is set to launch its latest addition to its action camera lineup, the Hero 5, in the coming months. The American manufacturer of action-packed cameras has reportedly delayed the launching of this new action camera, which is now alleged to be released in 2016 as well as loaded with improved and much-awaited features.

Previously, it was reported that GoPro will release the Hero 5 in October 2015. However, before October arrives, the company has announced that the launching won't push through anymore. Rumor has it that it will be next year, instead.

The GoPro Hero 5 is believed to sport an impressive Full Ultra HD video recording capability, also known as the 8K resolution. It will have the ability to capture images and record videos up to 60 meters underwater. This upcoming action camera is also expected to feature a new camera housing that is meant for diving activities.

If speculations are to be believed, then the Hero 5 will be the first camera of the company that features the 8K display. Apparently, this feature doubles the resolution of the recordings and gives the users the clearest pictures and videos.

Despite the fact that GoPro's stocks have tumbled lately, the company is still optimistic that its forthcoming Hero 5 will let them catch up to their low sales. In fact, it has been quite a long time since it launched its last action camera; thus, it is now the time to release a yet another innovative product.

On the whole, the highly anticipated GoPro Hero 5 might be arriving sometime next year. All GoPro users and spectators should just wait patiently for the official announcements of the company regarding the latest action camera's release date, specifications, features, as well as pricing. Definitely, it will be packed with more powerful and groundbreaking features that every user will get to enjoy.
