Computer manufacturing giant Lenovo is working on some new products to be released before the end of this year up to the following year. That is if the information leaked online is to be believed.

German tech website Winfuture recently came upon what appears to be a leaked roadmap illustrating Lenovo products currently available in the market as well as those that have been identified for future release.

Among the products listed is a new Thinkpad X1 Carbon 14" laptop, set to be released in the market in February 2016. This upcoming model would be the latest of the Thinkpad X line, Lenovo's ultrabook laptop line. As its predecessor, the Thinkpad X1 Carbon have the same sturdy, durable build, thin body, as well as a longer battery life.

The information also reveals that the X1 line would be extended to Lenovo's other consumer device offerings as well. In particular, the Beijing-based manufacturer is reportedly planning to introduce to the market a 12" Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Tablet, which will come with a keyboard dock as well, by February 2016. In its report, Windows Central notes that this upcoming Thinkpad X1 Tablet, aimed at enterprise customers, may be Lenovo's answer to Microsoft's Surface Pro. In addition, there is also a "premium thin and light" Thinkpad X1 Yoga 14" "convertible" hybrid laptop, with its full rotating hinge, that it plans to release by December this year. No specific dates were given for the release.

Digital Trends suggests that with the timeframe provided, it would be possible that Lenovo will showcase these 3 devices in the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas which will happen in January next year, even though the Thinkpad X1 Yoga would have been already in the market by then.

Lenovo has yet to comment regarding the veracity of the leaked information. For the meantime, better treat this information with a grain of salt.
